Life is crazy, and we all get caught up in the hustle. But we believe that when you slow down, connect with the earth, and let yourself explore—whether through travel, nature, or just a good cup of coffee—you rediscover what really matters.

For us, coffee has always been more than just an energy kick in the morning. It’s a way to pause, breathe, and take in the beauty that surrounds us. When we started Grounded, it wasn’t just about starting a business — it was about encouraging others to be grounded in the world around them. We wanted to craft a coffee that not only tasted incredible but also reminded you to reconnect with the world around you, to get outside, to adventure, and to ground yourself in what truly matters. We’ve always dreamed of traveling, experiencing new cultures, and connecting with nature in a way that made us feel alive. Now, we want to bring that feeling to you. We’re totally those people who think their dogs are their kids, we dream of living in a skoolie traveling the world, and we are completely obsessed with good coffee!

Story

Hey there! We’re Sydney and James, the duo behind Grounded Coffee Co. Our story’s simple: we wanted to create something real—something that connected us to the earth, the places we love, and the slow mornings we cherish.

Sydney’s a certified yoga teacher, graphic designer, and marketing specialist who loves creating, connecting, and exploring. James works in the oilfield, but his heart lies in the open road and the adventures that await us. Together, we share a love for slow mornings, good coffee, and the feeling of being grounded in nature.

Our two dachshunds, Murphy and Margaux, are always by our side as we dream of one day living full-time on the road in a skoolie or van. Until then, we’re committed to creating and sharing coffee that fuels your own adventures—whether they’re big or small.

Grounded Coffee started with a simple goal: to bring you exceptional coffee from the places we’ve traveled and fallen in love with. From the highlands of Guatemala to the hidden gems of other coffee-growing regions around the world, we want to share those flavors with you.
